Su Yongding’s Biography
Su Yongding serves as the General Manager of Serbia Zijin Mining, the company managing the Čukaru Peki green mine. With a strong background in mining engineering, safety technologies, and business management, Su brings extensive expertise and leadership to the company’s operations.
Born in Dingxi City, Gansu Province, China, Su Yongding earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering in 2005 and a Master of Science in Safety Technologies and Engineering in 2008, both from Central South University, one of China’s most prestigious educational and scientific institutions. Committed to expanding his knowledge in management, he continue his education and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh in 2021.
Su Yongding joined the Zijin Mining Group in 2022 as a highly qualified engineer. Prior to his current role, he held key leadership positions, including Executive Director of Serbia Zijin Mining and General Manager of Zijin Mining Trade and JCHX in China. Recognized for his professionalism, knowledge, and responsible approach, he has received multiple awards for his contributions to the industry.
Fluent in both Chinese and English, Su Yongding balances his professional responsibilities with family life as a devoted husband and father of two. Under his leadership, Serbia Zijin Mining continues to advance as a high-tech, sustainable mining company and a benchmark of excellence in Serbia and Southeast Europe.
